Steamboat Soap Company was born from Debbie’s passion for luxury bath and body products. Her philosophy is simple: In an industry rampant with trends and mass-marketing, Steamboat Soap Company offers a personal and unique signature brand. It’s charm lies not in being a large, marketed chain, but rather a company that prides itself in the highest quality, handcrafted products. The most immediate things that you will notice after using SSC’s products are not only how wonderful your skin feels, but also how wonderful your bathing experience becomes with the various textures, colors, and fragrances of our products.

The passion, energy, and enthusiasm Debbie brings to her brand makes them it a favorite among friends, locals, and customers around the world. What began as simply a hobby using lavender grown on her ranch, has now turned into a blossoming bath and body business. “Turning something I’ve always loved into a business has been incredibly exciting to me,” says Debbie.

When not making soap and attending to the business, Debbie enjoys riding horses and spending time with her husband, Andy, at their home in the Elk River Valley near Clark, Colorado, just north of Steamboat Springs.

Steamboat Soap Company is proud to have Christy Woodland providing her unique watercolor art for our Western Collection 2010 Western Embellished Soaps and Card Art. She also has created many wonderful artisan handcrafted paper that is used to wrap our popular Handmade Artisan Wrapped Soaps.
Christy lives in the beautiful mountains north of Steamboat Springs, Colorado she lives with her husband Mark and their 2 dogs Shyna and Chinook, and gets inspiration from nature and her surroundings every day. She especially loves to create many different types of greeting cards showcasing her many watercolor designs.
